Based on proven strain gauge technology, flange style static torque sensor RTT03 offers various measuring ranges from 0.2Nm to 100Nm suitable for torque measurement in both clockwise and counterclockwise direction. While intended primarily for non-rotating torque measurement, torque meter RTT03 can also measure rotating torque due to the existence of an equal and opposite torque to hold the driven equipment in place. For example, the torque to drive a motor at a constant speed can be measured as the static torque necessary to hold the motor from rotating.
