Flange to Flange Reaction Torque Sensor RTT04 is made from stainless steel with rated capacities available in 20Nm, 30Nm, 50Nm, 100Nm, 150Nm and 200Nm for both clockwise and anticlockwise loading. Based on mature strain gauge technology, model RTT04 delivers less than 0.2% full scale non-linearity intended for both static and rotating torque measurement because the torque to drive a motor can be measured as the static torque to hold the motor from rotating according to Newton’s third law of motion. The advantages of measuring dynamic torque with a static torque transducer are more durable due to no moving parts, no speed limit and lower cost.
