What is a multi-axis load cell?
Multi-axis load cells are force sensing components that are built to measure multiple forces and moments simultaneously using a single transducer. LCS mainly supplies 3-axis force sensors that measure force in Fx/Fy/Fz directions and 2-axis load cells that measure force in Fx/Fy direction or measure torque and thrust in Fz/Mz direction. The standard output from our multi component load cells is an analog signal at the millivolt level that is linearly related to the force applied, LCS also offers multi-channel signal conditioners to deliver 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, RS485 or RS232 output. Custom made service is available for our 3 dof load cells if the standard products are not applicable.
