What is a rod end load cell?
Rod end load cells normally refer to force sensors with female or male threads on each or either side of the transducer for both compression and tension force measurement. Constructed from stainless steel with high stiffness, our rod end load cells are suitable for both static and dynamic force measurement, they provide an ideal solution for applications such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics and industrial automation, automotive industries, research and development sectors, inline actuators thrust measurement, structural testing, etc.
There are a variety of wire outlet options available, the cable can be routed from the side or the bottom of the sensor, or directly from the center of the threaded rod, the versatile and flexible design allows them to be easily integrated into existing structures and helps save the installation space, which makes them adaptable and reliable force measurement devices utilized for in-line force measurement applications.
